Quinta do Vallado Adelaide Vintage Port 2014
60% of the grapes for this port are from mixed old vineyards from Quinta do Vallado in the valley of Rio Torto, and 40% Touriga Nacional from Quinta do Vallado. 50% of the grapes with their stalks were fermented for 4 days with periodic foot trodden in ‘lagares’. The aroma is deep and strong with intense dark fruit aromas. Full-bodied with ripe, soft tannins. This port has excellent structure with complexity and a very long finish.
